Methods
of Testing
Methods of testing are Competency Based.
Intech will employ fairness in its testing
methods. Testing is performed on a continuous
basis to allow students to gain success
in small steps. There is no "one-off"
examination to prove whether students have
gained success or not in their relevant
field of study. This Method gives the student
an opportunity to accumulate success towards
their qualification from the very first

Subsidized
Travel
As a registered student you will be issued
a student card that allows subsidized travel
on public transport and specials at many
stores and events. Some conditions exists.

International
Students
All international students must abide by
the rules and regulations set out in the
student handbook. Students are also expected
to abide by the Code of Conduct as published
in the Student Induction Manual. Any breach
of these guidelines may result in disciplinary
action. All staff are expected to follow
and enforce these guidelines. Any student
who feels that they have been unfairly treated
may use the grievance procedure which in
summary states.
Student
who wish to enroll in Certificate IV or
Diploma courses need to demonstrate a suitable
level of English. ie IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL
5.25.

All
students must be enrolled in full time study
and have an attendance record of over 80%
for the course.
Students
have the opportunity to work part time ie.
a maximum of 20 hours per week.
All
students will have access to subsidized
public transport (conditions apply).

Permission
to Work
Students on a student visa having
the full course load of at least 20hrs per
week are allowed under their visa condition
to work for 20 hrs a week. You will need
to apply for a student work permission.

for TFN – TAX File Number for provision
of taxes.

are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).
Medical
Health Insurance
It is compulsory that all students on a
student visa must have medical health insurance
in Australia. Intech will quote you for
the first year or the shorter duration according
to the course length for such insurance.
If you have a longer course than 1 year
you must renew your medical insurance. Intech
staff will assist you with the application.
Medical
insurance can be used for health check,
doctor’s visits, medical treatments
etc.
Registration Procedure
The following the registration
procedure:
Fill in Intech application form.
Provide the form with all supporting documents
to Intech via mail or scanned email copies:
Passport copy and IELTS copy for internationals,
Highest School leaving certificate.
Intech
will provide the student with a letter of
offer for the course – indicating
the start dates, cost, refund and other
relevant information.
If
the student wishes to continue to accept
the offer the student must fill and sign
the acceptance sheet .Send the signed acceptance
and appropriate application fee to Intech.
Where a package is offered you will need
to accept the accompanying documents, terms
and conditions.
On
receiving the applications Intech will process
a COE (Conformation of Enrollment)
Where package courses are offered to you
will receive a COE from each institute.
Once
you receive your COE you may lodge your
application in your appropriate Australian
High Commission in your country or the nearest
Australian High Commission for a student
visa. Prior to your lodgment please refer
to the requirements for a student visa.
